PhD student wins award at international meeting on chemical ecology

Edita Ritmejeryte, a PhD student from the School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences (SEFS), has won the Best Student Poster Award at the International Society of Chemical Ecology Meeting in Kyoto.

Her poster was titled, "In Defence of Flowers: Different strategies in the deployment of a chemical defence in floral tissues". She was also awarded an ISCE student travel award to present at the conference.

Ms Ritmejeryte is supervised by Rebecca Miller in SEFS, and co-supervised by Mike Bayly and Berin Boughton in the School of BioSciences.
