ARC CoE for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology (CQC2T)

The Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology  (CQC2T) works to enhance and secure Australia’s lead in the global race to develop strategic information technologies based on the laws of quantum physics. Their success will establish access to unprecedented communications security and computing capability for Australia.

The Melbourne Node of CQC2T is situated in the David Caro Building of the University of Melbourne and is one of the largest research centres in the School of Physics. It is home to cleanrooms, the Advanced Materials Laboratory, the Quantum Device Modelling & Algorithms Group, and hosts the Microanalytical Research Centre (MARC), the Melbourne Materials Institute (MMI), and other ARC research centres.
