About

The Reverend David Kay from New Zealand and formerly of Melbourne made a bequest in 1894 for a scholarship in Botany in memory of his late wife, Caroline.

Process

By nomination by the Head of the School of Botany to the student with the highest mark in one or more subjects in the discipline of Botany. Awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Science on behalf of the University. The Botany scholarship is tenable for two years.
