Faculty of Science Thesis Boot Camp

Expressions of Interest for the Faculty of Science Thesis Boot Camp are now open. Late stage graduate research candidates are encouraged to apply.

This Thesis Boot Camp is a thesis writing intensive for late stage graduate research candidates in the Faculty of Science. Applicants will spend the weekend writing, with the aim of producing at least 1 chapter, or up to 10,000 words by the end of the camp.

An academic from the Faculty of Science will be available across the weekend to guide the writing process and provide consultation on an individual basis. Additionally, a representative from Academic Skills will be on hand to provide guidance and assistance at the commencement of the Boot Camp.

Details:
Friday 18 May: 4pm - 7.30pm  (supper provided)
Saturday 19 May: 9:30am - 6.00pm (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided)
Sunday 20 May: 9:30am - 5.00pm  (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided)

Cost: $25 (refundable upon completion of the Boot Camp) 

Interested students are encouraged to complete an Expression of Interest.

Applications close midday Monday 30 April.

We will select a maximum of 35 participants from applications. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by COB Friday 4 May.
