MCDS proudly supports UoM QMNET

All of us here at Melbourne Centre for Data Science (MCDS) are keen to build a collegial community. Today we would like to introduce you to QMNET.

The Quantitative Methods Network (QMNET) began as an internal network of quantitative researchers at the University of Melbourne, but presently has over 300 members across all continents. QMNET's membership is very diverse, spanning a wide variety of disciplines that are bound together by their interest in quantification and quantitative practices applied in science and society.

The QMNET email list can be accessed by new members here and serves as a resource for asking/answering quantitative questions, posting job opportunities, and related community activities. All QMNET talks are now available online via its new YouTube channel where all presentation materials are available for download in the video descriptions.

We'll be posting QMNET events here on our website - check the Events tab - and will be sending out information via our newsletter.
