If you are looking for a group on a certain topic or would like to start a group, please get in touch - firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deep Learning Reading Group
A casual reading group to present and discuss recent work in deep learning and related machine learning topics. Staff and students from all backgrounds who are interested in these topics are welcome, as we aim to discuss a broad mix of both theoretical and application-focused papers.
Causal Inference Reading Group
Causal inference is an important concept in many fields and the connection between causal inference and AI has become increasingly important in recent years. This reading group will be focused on discussion of causal inference in data science.
Staff and students from all backgrounds who are interested in this topic are welcome. Conversations will be a broad mix of both theoretical and application-focused papers.
Agent-Based Social Simulation Reading Group
This monthly reading group will focus on both the science and art of designing, developing and then communicating agent-based social simulation models to both the modelling and wider community. Each month we will look at agent-based modelling platforms, problems, projects, and papers both new and old.
Students and staff from right across the University with an interest in social simulation are invited to participate.
