Research in Biotechnology uses fundamental research from a broad spectrum of natural and physical sciences (such as Chemistry and Botany) to understand and develop processes and technologies to improve human, animal and plant health and growth.
Biotechnology research is conducted in the School of BioSciences, and the Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Institute.
