This program is designed to equip our graduate students with valuable language skills that enable them to get the most out of their studies.
Each year, the Faculty of Science offers graduate students the opportunity to apply for the Graduate Science Language Development Program.
The program is free, requires no additional assessment and is a great way to develop and apply your English language skills for class participation, assessment tasks and scientific research.
The sessions are facilitated by one of the University’s highly qualified Academic Skills Advisers and offer participants the opportunity to develop and learn among fellow science students in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Topics include: writing a literature review, structuring a scientific essay, writing clarity and focus, time management and communication skills.
Applications for Semester 2 are now open.
Sessions: the workshop takes place each Tuesday from Week 4 to Week 11 between 10:30am - 12:00pm of Semester 2, 2018.
