Optimal exchange dates: Year 2: Semester 1

Planning your exchange: The easiest time to go on exchange when undertaking the Geography major is Semester 1 of Year 2. Upon returning to the University of Melbourne, students should enrol in ERTH20001 Dangerous Earth in Semester 2.

Things to consider: It is important to note that students should complete at least 25 points of Geography subjects at Level 2 to meet pre-requisite requirements for moving into the major.If considering exchange, students should also consider that the Faculty of Science has mapped many subjects equivalent to ECOL20003 Ecology.
