Community of Practice

The Foodprint Melbourne team is facilitating a new online Community of Practice that supports Victorian stakeholders in taking action to strengthen the resilience of food systems to shocks and stresses.

This new Community of Practice is aimed at people in government (local and state) and civil society in Victoria, who are involved in taking action to strengthen the resilience of food systems to shocks and stresses. This includes urban planners, agricultural extension officers, community resilience and emergency management officers, and public health practitioners.

What will this Community of Practice do?

The Community of Practice provides a platform for stakeholders to learn from each other and to collaboratively problem solve. We hear from experts and practitioners, and we combine our knowledge and experiences to develop joint outputs.  We work together on approaches to food resilience planning, that is, taking actions to strengthen the resilience of food systems from farm to fork.

When will the Community of Practice meet?

The Community of Practice meets online on Zoom 3 – 4 times a year and each meeting lasts around 1.5 hours.
