Know Your Foodbowl

The Food Alliance Know Your Foodbowl project investigated what grows on Melbourne's city fringe farmland.

Know Your Foodbowl was a research project undertaken by the Food Alliance at Deakin University in 2014. The project was led by Foodprint Melbourne team members Dr Rachel Carey and Jen Sheridan and was a pilot for the Foodprint Melbourne project.

The Know Your Foodbowl project was crowdfunded through Pozible, and supported by the City of Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula Shire, and Slow Food Melbourne.

In 2015, the Food Alliance closed at Deakin University and Sustain: The Australian Food Network emerged in its place. Outputs from the Food Alliance and the Know Your Foodbowl project relevant to Foodprint Melbourne are available here.
