The project involved exploratory social network analysis relating to New Zealand's agencies, organizations and individuals involved in rural resilience issues
Project Summary
The purpose of this project was to
- Identify New Zealand organisations and agencies for whom rural resilience is a current and future focus with respect to policy, practice and advocacy.
- Identify current opportunities, weaknesses (gaps) and strengths in the network.
- Identify the roles of leaders and brokers within the baseline network who provide critical relational connectivity for the next stage of the project.
- Identify if, and how, clusters of organisations are working together.
- Better understand how the resilience capability represented by the national and international networks of workshop members can be available for the benefit of New Zealand’s rural communities.
