Bachelor of Science Medal Winner - Martyn Schwarz

Martyn commenced his university studies in 2020 and studied a Bachelor of Science with a major in Data Science and a breadth track in Corporate Finance. He loved studying Data Science as it allowed him to pursue his passion for both math and algorithms, subjects he selected throughout the three-year course. Martyn believes that Data Science is one of the key problem-solving tools of the future.  This year, he commenced work at Boston Consulting Group, and further down the track, would love the opportunity to undertake further study, whether it be an MBA or other Master’s course, either here or abroad.

Bachelor of Agriculture Medal Winner - Tushar Ramesh

Tushar commenced studying the Bachelor of Agriculture in 2021, choosing the University of Melbourne because of its Dookie campus – a dedicated teaching and research facility between Shepparton and Benalla. When Tushar commenced his Bachelor’s degree, he had a clear interest in plant and soil science from the get-go. He went on to study soil health, crop production and global food insecurity. In the future, Tushar hopes to use the knowledge gained from his degree to explore how he can give back to the country, and hopefully solve a few problems.
