Prizes for top performing students

We recognise students with outstanding academic achievement by awarding them with subject and year level prizes.

Featured prizes

The majority of prizes are awarded to the student who achieves the highest result in a subject or year level. Winners are automatically selected following the final release of results each year.

  • Ramm Prize in Experimental Physics

    This prize is awarded to a first year Bachelor of Science (Honours), Master of Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Science, Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science student who is undertaking research in experimental physics, on the basis of academic merit.

  • John Lovering Prize

    This prize is offered to students who completed the Bachelor of Science with Honours or Master of Science in Earth Science and achieved the highest course weighted average mark.

  • Kingsley Rowan Botany Prize

    This prize supports students who achieved the highest weighted average mark in third-year Botany subjects.

  • Kate Gordon Addison Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Prize

    This prize is awarded to high achieving students in their final year of study in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
