Shreya Shrivastava

2nd Year BSc

Shreya is a second-year Bachelor of Science student with a strong interest in biotechnology and biochemistry. She is actively involved in the Melbourne Bioinnovation Student Initiative (MBSI) and the Melbourne Alternative Protein Project, where she explores scientific innovation and sustainability. Shreya is also an International Student Ambassador (ISA), supporting global engagement and helping fellow international students settle into university life. In high school, she co-founded Bloom, a student-led initiative that improved access to sanitary napkins for underprivileged women in Bangkok, reflecting her passion for equity and community-driven change. Through these experiences, she has developed strong leadership, communication, and advocacy skills. As an SSRC member, Shreya is excited to represent her cohort, amplify student voices, and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive academic environment.
