Bothainah Sharrofna
Bothainah is a Master of Data Science student with a strong passion for student advocacy and community building. During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, she served as a Student Representative in University Government, where she led a successful campaign to increase the Student Activities Fee - an initiative approved by students that expanded funding for campus programs and organizations. She also founded and led the Zeta Nu Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon and the Computer Science Club, creating spaces that helped students connect, collaborate, and feel more involved on campus. As an SSRC member, Bothainah is excited to represent her graduate cohort and is committed to making sure student voices are heard and valued. She hopes to advocate for her peers by staying approachable, actively gathering feedback, and working toward initiatives that improve both academic and student life experiences.
