Applications open for undergraduate and postgraduate awards
A number of awards are currently open for applications from students studying in the Faculty of Science – check them out now.
Postgraduate awards
Open until 16 October 2023
- Behrend Memorial Travel Scholarships 2023 - up to $1,000. This scholarship supports Master of Science students in the School of Mathematics and Statistics by providing funds for travel associated with research and study, including, but not limited to, participation in conferences or workshops
Open until 20 November 2023
- Science Abroad Travelling Scholarships (MVS) – up to $2,000. This scholarship supports PhD students in the Faculty of Science undertaking travel to attend conferences, fieldwork, etc. as part of a Study Away request.
- MVS Travel Award Scheme – up to $3,000. This scholarship supports graduate research students in the Melbourne Veterinary School undertaking travel to attend conferences, fieldwork, etc. as part of a Study Away request.
- SAFES Travel Award Scheme – up to $2,000. This scholarship supports graduate researchers in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences undertaking travel to attend conferences, fieldwork, etc. as part of a Study Away request.
Open until 16 December 2023
- Faculty of Science Postgraduate Writing-Up Award - up to $5,000. This scholarship supports University of Melbourne PhD and MPhil graduate researchers enrolled through the Faculty of Science once their thesis has been submitted.
