Differences in Major and Minor Research Projects
When deciding on a research project, you should consider whether you want to enrol in a Minor or Major Research Project (25 or 50 points), and whether you want to complete your research in one semester, or over two semesters.

Recommended | N/A | Compared to the minor research project, the major project requires deeper and higher-level analysis. In order to complete the major project to a high level, a GPA of 75+ is recommended in preceding coursework subjects. A research project will be required for students planning for a PhD pathway. |
Topic Approval | The Project Approval form requires the signature of a supervisor. Scan and upload the form to Stop 1 using the Enrolment Assistance Form.
You are also required to scan and upload the form to the LMS once enrolled. |
